Pacific Waterland 2024

I have known about this event for sometime now, normally when you hear watercooled show and USA most will think of the East Coast, especially the Tristate Area (PA, NY, NJ, CT). However, there is also a thriving VAG/watercooler scene in the Pacific Northwest, and PWL is the first show that comes to mind! This year, 2024, will be the first year I will be attending the event. I was impressed to hear how long the show has been running. Despite it's large turnout and relevance today it had it's humble beginnings. One of the special things about this show is that people have the option to camp at the location the day before the event, in true PNW outdoorsy fashion. 

"We’ve been doing the car show since 2006, where we started at a local park. The first show had 25 cars. In 2008 we moved to Woodburn Dragstrip. Now the show has grown to the largest in the Pacific Northwest. We average about 400 show cars, the largest swap meet, largest number of drag racers.
