Hi, my name is Savion Son & I’m from southeastern PA.
What got you into modifying cars and what kept you in it? First Car or First Mod/Wrenching job?
What got me into modifying cars was seeing The Fast and The Furious & thinking it was so cool, like I’m sure many others thought as well. What kept me in it is going to car shows and seeing everyone’s build from all around the world and getting inspired on how I want to do mine. My first car was a '96 Sequoia Green Jetta GL I received for my high school graduation gift from my cousin and the first mod I did to it was lowered it on JOM coilovers & BBS RA wheels.
Tell us about your ride, what is it? Feel free to tell us about any current or previous cars/vehicles if you feel it is relevant!
I currently have a ‘98 Jetta GLX, but I’ve owned a few other MK3s. I got out of them for a bit & went into playing with Audi B5s & had to get back into a MK3 after seeing one of my buddy’s finish building his VR6T Jetta.

My son Jalen is my biggest fan and loves this car. His favorite thing to do is sitting on my lap and “driving” the car around the block.
