Let's hear a little bit about the driver - What's your name and where are you from?
I’m Tali and I’m from Albania/Kosovo though I’ve been living in Germany since 1994.
What got you into modifying cars and what kept you in it?
The memories with the cars in Kosovo and my family is what got me into cars and modifying them. It’s also an outlet besides work and a great hobby.
Ok ok ok... Tell us about your ride, what is it?
My ride is a 1991 Volkswagen Golf 2 Fire and Ice edition. I’m the fifth and last owner of this car.
Exterior Mods?
Borbet Type A wheels, back Jalousine spoiler (idk the right word for it, in German its called "katzentreppe“ which means cat stairs [Louvre]. Air-ride from German air-ride System G.A.S.
Interior Mods?
Luisi Mirage steering wheel, special rubadub shift knob 1/1 (actually broken because of the sun) Seats in original blue and purple colors.
Anything special under the hood?
Nothing special going on under the hood. I like it original and functional.
What are some things you've done to your car that others might not notice?
A friend of mine painted the hood, roof, trunk and the cage.
Anything else you'd like to add? (could be about anything)
I tried to do everything I could by myself on the car and put in some time and nerves. I like the positive vibes when the people see the car and it reminds them of the good old days.
