Let's hear a little bit about the driver - What's your name and where are you from?
I am Christian Parr and I’m from small town Montana, USA.
What got you into modifying cars and what kept you in it?
I’ve always loved cars ever since I can remember. My dad and I would always talk about cars and as I grew older I found friends that had the same interests and it has just grown from that. Anything from the stanced out euro scene, Jap drift cars, lifted trucks, American drag cars, I love it all and when it comes down to it everyone appreciates everyone’s work on their own ride and we all share the same passion and that’s what it’s all about.
Ok ok ok... Tell us about your ride, what is it?
I have a 2004 Volkswagen R32 in deep blue pearl. I bought it in 2016 from the original owner with 75,000 miles. I bought it 2 days after I turned 21. Pretty good 21st birthday present right? I was honestly pretty depressed at the time. I really needed something to be happy about and to look forward to doing car stuff and making new friends with it. I’m happy to say that this car did the trick. It’s still an escape to this day.

Interior Mods?
- Sparco Evo II Seats, although I miss the stock R seats and will be putting those back in soon.
- OG BBS 3 spoke steering wheel

Anything special under the hood?
Nothing too special right now
- Unitronics tune
- Swoops hidden maf intake
- Sai delete
- Ac delete
- Battery relocated to under the rear seat delete
- Oem exhaust with resonator delete. I used to have the resonator and muffler deleted a while back but it was way way way too loud. I highly recommend if you don’t care about your neighbors.
What are some things you've done to your car that others might not notice?
The things that nobody notices are my favorite parts of the car. The custom pop out windows, mk5 rear emblem, and the stubby mirrors are among my favorites.
Anything else you'd like to add? (could be about anything)
From what I know the wheels are the only set in the US. Rare stuff is what I’m all about.
Future plans are a seat change for sure. Most likely stock Mk4 R seats will be installed. Possibly a whole color change in the interior, black is clean but boring. We’ll see about that though. A few custom engine bay accessories such as custom power steering res relocate, custom coolant ball res delete/relocate, wire tuck, and supercharger/turbo down the road.
