Let's hear a little bit about the driver - What's your name and where are you from?
My name is Anthony Kennard and I’m from Bel Air, Maryland.
What got you into modifying cars and what kept you in it?
The main thing that got me into modifying cars was the uniqueness that I saw in all types of builds. My dad was always into modifying cars and I guess it just kind of stuck in the family. And the thing that really keeps me in this hobby is the satisfaction that you get when you achieve a vision that you simply created in your head. It all has to start from somewhere.
Ok ok ok... Tell us about your ride, what is it?
So, what I’ve done to the car is fairly “simple” which is what I like. I have a set of Leon Hardiritt Orden VIP wheels, AirLift Performance bags with 3P management, Mk6 euro style taillights, Chrome mirror caps, underglow, one wiper if you call that a mod lol, and my favorite part of the outside which is the Thunder Bunny front bumper.
Interior Mods?
For the interior I haven’t done too much since I daily it need it for everyday things but I had my headliner redone in a dark grey suede, I have some floor lighting, dual 10” kicker (you know the deal about that), and my favorite part about the inside is the Rolls Royce star lights that a buddy and I put in ourselves. It took 3 days and around 7 hours a day. Definitely a challenge but was well worth it!
Anything special under the hood?
As far as under the hood she’s bone stock! Like I said before I daily drive it and want to keep it reliable as long as possible without breaking the bank.
What are some things you've done to your car that others might not notice?
Most of my modifications are exterior so nothing is really “hidden” so to speak but the true car enthusiast will know that the amount of blood and sweat that go into each build is not something just anybody can see.
Anything else you'd like to add? (could be about anything)
Only thing I’d like to add is that if you have a vision in your head, do it! I had numerous people tell me my setup won't work, it's not possible, try something reasonable, and that I’m insane. So, don’t let anyone decide how your car will look, build it for yourself!
